About me

Beirut born professional Photographer Maha Nasra Eddé has been translating her personal ideas, dreams and fantasies into imagery since her earliest childhood memories. Today she does so professionally and very successfully for others within the photographic realm of Fashion, Beauty, Lifestyle, Luxury Brands, Design Interiors, and High Profile Portraiture.  

Having studied and worked in Montreal, Canada as a Designer and Art Director for many years, Maha's personal journey after many travels, brought her to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, in 2002.  A period of great vision and development in the Emirate and one which inspired Maha to further explore her inherent talent for avant garde photography and artistic expression.  A journey of discovery which continues to infuse her work today in both style and content.  Blending composition with light, fusing content with story,  understanding trends past and present to imagine and interpret ideas in new creative directions, Maha’s appreciation for art, diverse cultures and story is always evident in her work. It is her ability to blend those elements visually and creatively along with an understanding of the commercial needs of her clients that gives her the edge in today's highly competitive field of professional photography.  This is why her list of Clients is diverse and extensive.

In 2012 Maha took the next step and created a state of the art photographic studio and creative workspace facility. Born from both necessity and desire, 8th Street Studios is a stylishly urbane and innovatively modular space in the very heart of what is now a burgeoning area of artistic enterprises and galleries in Dubai's old Al Quoz 1 district. 

 It was Maha’s desire to go beyond her basic needs which truly defined and shaped the studios into the impressive community facilities that exist today.  It has, through word of mouth quickly become a favorite amongst the creative, freelance and photographic communities in Dubai today.
